ASSEMBLY
Pre-check:
transmitting frequency must be identical... Transmitting frequency in the new sensors must be identical
with the frequency of the system in the vehicle. In the world frequency 433 MHz is usually applied,
in the U.S., Canada and in the Far East partly 315 MHz (= light grey colour on the electronic equipment).
The data on MHz is displayed on the sensor. ADVICE: It is recommended to take down identification
codes of the new electronic equipment on the wheels and make a note in the invoice or user guide
for a quick check at later possible inquiries.

Mount the valve (C, see the note top right) with the screwed on electronics (B) through the valve opening on the rim,
draw a spacing collar (D) and screw on a valve nut (E) until the stop. Plug in the assembly pin into the radial opening
of the valve and draw the valve nut tight with torque of 4 Nm. WARNING: Subsequently please remove again the
assembly pin because otherwise the tyre will be damaged at further mounting.

After removing the assembly pin please press the wheel electronics lightly into the rim. Now draw the self-locking
screw tight with torque of 2 Nm. The wheel electronics has to touch down easily into the deep bead base of the rim.
Now draw the wheel on the assembly equipment (so that the assemly head may lie on the opposite side of the valve,
it is shifted by 180°.)
Coat the bead heel and the rim edge with assembly paste. Now shift the lower bead heel partially through the rim edge.
Adjust the assembly head to the rim edge and draw the lower bead heel onto the rim.
WARNING: At the installation pay attention to the bead heel so that it does not press the electronic device placed on the wheel.
After the lower bead heel draw also the upper heel on the rim. The valve has to be placed opposite the assembly
head (shift by 180°). Then take the whole wheel from the assembly machine. Step by step blow the air in tyres to 3.0 bar
maximum without applying  the valve – until the bead heels slip down equally through the safety shoulder.
Now screw on a new valve and inflate the tyre to prescribed pressure. Place the cap  of the valve and balance the wheel.
Mount complete wheels on the motor vehicle.

You will need a new initialisation/calibration of the system (see the user guide provided by the manufacturer of motor vehicles)
when
- the tyre pressure has changed
- the control unit was replaced
- a spare wheel was mounted as a drive wheel
- the position of the wheel was subsequently changed
- a new electronic device was installed on the wheel
- tyres with electronic devices on the wheels were mounted on the vehicle
